CHS Renovations BY HAZEL DUROSS

As many students will know, the auditorium finished renovations around February 8th of this year, and the main thing that was renovated was the seating and the stage. For those who didn’t go to open house earlier this year, the principal Mrs. Macomber has also stated that they will be renovating the gym as well. But what other renovations will there be going on with next school year if any at all?

But what other renovations will there be going on with next school year if any at all?

When will renovations on the gym begin?

Administrators are saying that they will start renovations in the summer of 2025. They will be changing the flooring, bleachers, paint and the lights in the gym and the school staff are really excited about the gym renovations.

Are there any planned renovations for this year or the coming year?

Administrators are hoping to make the main entrance of the school more welcoming, as some new freshmen think the entrance is the door to the new cafeteria. However it’s unstated on when this welcoming entrance is going to be made.

As of now, there aren’t any other planned renovations on school grounds but the renovations we will get seem to be very exciting. It’s both a great way to start high school for the class of 2029 and to graduate for the class of 2026.
