CHS Students in Local Band

Locally, four friends came together and formed a band called No Wisdom. Last year, No Wisdom became complete with the final part of their four piece harmony. The band consists of Brody Lagerstrom (lead vocals and guitar), David Dubuc (lead guitar), Chelsea Steitz (drums), and lastly Erica Salisbury (bass)

Baseball Hall of Fame Inductees

Recently, the voters of the Baseball Writers Association of America submitted their polls, and four players watched themselves become legends. Former Arizona Diamondbacks fireballer Randy Johnson, Red Sox Ace Pedro Martinez, Braves Starter/Closer John Smoltz, and Astros versatility man Craig Biggio, all were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Benefits of Learning Another Language

Learning a foreign language opens new doors and opportunities to students. We receive an exposure to new cultures and explore the lifestyles of other countries. Students gain access to an entire new community of music, literature, art, film, fashion and entertainment, which allows us to have a better understanding and perspective on foreign countries and of the world.

Top Ten Greatest Albums of All Time

In my life, I’ve listened to a lot of music spanning many decades and genres. Some good, some bad, but, through it all, I’ve always enjoyed sitting back and listening to a good album.  If you ask anybody if they like music or not, a good chunk of us will say that our lives wouldn’t be the same without it.  Many of us love to rattle off a few of our favorite bands and songs.

I would like to share some of my favorite albums. As a disclaimer, I’ve set a few basic rules to making this list.

Controversy Over Sony’s Release of THE INTERVIEW

Rogen and costar James Franco announced the film would be cancelled and Sony pulled all advertising for the film. Sony received heavy criticism for their decision, including from president Barack Obama, who said Sony should not respond to the words of dictators.
