The Most Stressful Time of the Year?. Find Ways to Limit Stress and Have a Happy Holiday Season.
We all know that the holidays can be stressful and Mr. Ruffolo and I are here to help! Between school pressures, shopping for presents, and family gatherings, the holidays aren’t always enjoyable. He and I have put together some reasons that kids and families tend to get so stressed and some tips on how to handle the craziness.

Keep calm this holiday season.
Often times during holidays and vacations, people can feel a variety of emotions, including happiness, anger, and sadness. Emotions can come to the surface when we face parent divorces, losses, and stress about school work. A lot of times, our lives are shaken up during breaks and vacations which may cause things to feel very unpredictable.
“Recognize that it is a stressful time of the year,” advises Mr. Ruffolo. This means to acknowledge anything that adds to the hecticness of the season. Whether there is a family member deployed, divorced parents, or even a loss in the family, everyone should be prepared to handle the emotions they may feel. A way to do that is to …
