Creed II is still in Showcase Cinemas due to the extraordinary ratings on this movie. It is a nail-biting, thrilling, and entertaining movie produced by Sylvester Stallone, Irwin, Charlie, and David Winkler, William Chartoff, and Kevin King Templeton. But, Creed II won’t be at the theater for too long. Check out the trailer and the first Creed to refresh your memory.

Creed II Is Worth Seeing: Movie Review
BY TYLER MCNEIL
Many people think that Creed II is only about boxing. However, it is also filled with loads of action that will leave you on the edge of your seat. If you plan on seeing Creed II, you should catch the first Creed, which is constantly on television. Creed II, starring Sylvester Stallone, Michael B. Jordan, Dolph Lundgren, and Tessa Thompson, is rated PG-13. Shortly, Showcase Cinemas won’t show the movie because many holiday movies are coming out.
The main plot of the movie is about a fighter, Adonis Creed. His father, Apollo Creed, was one the greatest fighters of all time. Adonis had a rough childhood. He was never able to see his father because Apollo died before he was born and his mother died when he was very young. Because of this, he was sent into an orphanage. He picked many fights there, probably because fighting ran in his family. After that, he got sent to juvenile hall for very young kids. One day in juvenile hall, young Adonis had a “visitor”. It was Apollo’s wife, played by Phylicia Rashād, who adopted him.
His record was 15-0, all of the fights being “unofficial” in Mexico, until his first fight out of the Spanish-Speaking country. He fought a good match against another skilled fighter. But, injuries occurred, along with other obstacles blocking his path to success, such as his girlfriend, child, mother, and Rocky. In the first Creed, Rocky got diagnosed with cancer. His wife, Adrian, died of cancer, too. Since she tried to fight and lost the battle to cancer, Rocky made the decision of letting cancer take his life. Adonis Creed wasn’t supposed to find out about Rocky’s illness, but he eventually caught on. “If you fight, I’ll fight,” Creed said to Rocky telling him that if he fights cancer, then Creed will continue his boxing career. That is until another event occurs parting ways with Rocky and young Adonis Creed.
Once young Adonis matured, he pursued a career in boxing. He is haunted by the last name “Creed.” He wanted to change it to his mother’s last name, “Johnson,” which he does. Near the middle of the second Creed, Adonis fights the man’s son who killed his very own father. They end up fighting twice, and one fight was way different than the other due to the man in his corner.

I’d give this movie a rating of 9.5 out of 10 just because I believe that the first Creed was better and had more action. Get a large bucket of popcorn that will last precisely 2 hours and 10 minutes.
