A season of giving, a season of love,
Is easily overlooked and not thought of.
Imagine a world where we could be,
So loving and kind and feel so free.
Winter Moments
The lights were strung and hung,
With so much more to be done.
Not knowing how this holiday would be,
They did everything to try to please me.
This always happened through this season,
No one could grasp the true reason.
Letters were written and gifts were sent,
But did they really know what this meant?
A season of giving, a season of love,
Is easily overlooked and not thought of.
Imagine a world where we could be,
So loving and kind and feel so free.
It seems so far and out of reach,
It is something that one can’t teach.
The trees are up and all in sight,
Shining bright with twinkling lights.
The glimmer of white is starting to fall,
The beautiful sight is far from small.
If only they knew who I really was,
Some of you may call me Santa Claus.
For this is me currently,
But I must give you some clarity.
For I am Saint Nick,
I do much good for all who deserve it.
