Navigating Black Friday! By Lawrence Cabbabe
Yes yes, I know. It may only be Thanksgiving, but the Christmas season is in full swing. And there is no better time to buy gifts than Black Friday. Believe me when I say, yes it can be hectic, but it is worth scrambling to get some crazy deals.
Yes yes, I know. It may only be Thanksgiving, but the Christmas season is in full swing. And there is no better time to buy gifts than Black Friday. Believe me when I say, yes it can be hectic, but it is worth scrambling to get some crazy deals.
Amazon, the popular online retailer, is starting Black Friday early this year on November 22nd with discounts on all Amazon products like Echos, Fire TVs, Ring Doorbells, Kindles, and even the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10. Wal-Mart has some respectable deals of their own, such as Roku Smart TVs, Apple Watches, Lenovo laptops, and some high-end Acer Chromebooks. The savings for both Amazon and Wal-Mart are, in my opinion, the best value. The discounts actually make a big difference. You could save hundreds of dollars on items for your house or early Christmas gifts.
However, it can’t be Black Friday without Best Buy. This year, Best Buy has $200 discounts on select Apple MacBooks and workstations, up to $750 savings on Samsung phone trade-ins, $150 off a new Xbox One X, Laptops, Vacuums, and much more. While Best Buy does not offer the best deals in select areas of the Tech market, Best Buy is the best place to go for an overall good experience and is still worth the craziness the store is known for during this time of the year.
Of course, there are other stores with discounts of their own. For example, GameStop is a great place to get amazing deals on video games and Home Depot offers kitchen appliances and Christmas decor. It is safe to say that Christmas may not be here yet, but Black Friday makes the gift-giving season a lot easier to find some incredible gifts.
