Let’s Keep the Renovated Bathrooms Clean BY SYDNEY HAMMER
How would you like it if you spent a lot of time working on a project, just to have others disregard it and make a mockery of your work? Probably not good, right? Now, put yourself in the teacher's shoes. Imagine working on the bathrooms walls only to have them destroyed by students during the year. Imagine your hard work being completely disregarded.

Let’s Keep the Renovated Bathrooms Clean
BY SYDNEY HAMMER
Over the summer, several CHS teachers took it upon themselves to come into school to renovate our bathrooms. Instead of relaxing on a beach, or watching television, they chose to take time away from their vacation. They did this not because they were obligated to, but because they wanted to give us a more welcoming and clean environment.
These renovations took hours and were done in the hot heat and humidity of our school in August.
These renovations included painting the walls, writing inspirational quotes, and fun designs. However, despite the hard work our teachers put in, students still continue to make a mess out of the bathroom and vandalize the walls.
Think about this: How would you like it if you spent a lot of time working on a project, just to have others disregard it and make a mockery of your work? Probably not good, right? Now, put yourself in the teacher’s shoes. Imagine working on the bathrooms walls only to have them destroyed by students during the year. Imagine your hard work being completely disregarded.
Because of this, we, as students, must take action and do whatever we can to keep the bathrooms clean, and looking nice. Not only will this improve our surroundings, but also show the staff that worked on the bathrooms that their hard work was not in vain.
