How has nursing in the school become different from regular school due to covid?
I literally have very little time for the conventional school nurse business. I am trying my best to keep up, but I would say that contact tracing is the most difficult task during Covid. Also, our day never ends due to this task. I actually miss conventional school nursing.
What percentage of kids do you think are exaggerating Covid symptoms to get out of school?
I would say very few students use “covid symptoms” as an excuse to go home. I feel that students have more of an appreciation for being at school right now.
How often are nurses required to get tested for Covid?
We are not required to test. We have all been vaccinated, but we have to test for the same reasons as anyone else(close contact or we have symptoms)
